Biography
I was born and raised in New Jersey. I enlisted in the Army Reserves and attended Rutgers University. I earned a degree in economics and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army National Guard.
After Transportation Officer's Basic Course, I started work as a pier superintendent, supervising Longshoremen in the Port of New York.
I earned an MBA from The University of British Columbia and started working for a consulting company based in Vancouver, BC.
I spent more than twenty years working to build leadership skills and management expertise to drive business results at companies around the world.
My wife, Anne, and I moved to Mukilteo with our three children in 2010 to work with Boeing. We were attracted to Mukilteo because of the great school system.
We have developed close friends and strong ties to the community.
Anne and I attend St. Hilda St. Patrick Episcopal Church, where I have served on the Bishop's Committee and Anne runs the youth group.
Anne volunteered in the school system while our children were young and now teaches English and social studies at Olympic View Middle School.
I am excited for the opportunity to give back to our community, build on the things that make Mukilteo great, and make Mukilteo work for the people who live, work, and play in our town.
Issues & Political Concerns
The Comprehensive Plan should reflect our shared sense of what makes Mukilteo a great place to live, work, raise a family and grow old. We need to draw people into the process of creating this plan. I'm a skilled and experienced business leader, comfortable listening to people with different views, with the ability to draw out common values. I've got the project planning and management experience to draw in the people of Mukilteo.
